Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups day-old bread cubed
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a baking dish.
  2. Place bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  3. Whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour mixture over bread and let soak for 10 minutes.
  5. Drizzle with melted butter and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Notes

  • Use stale bread for best texture
  • Do not overbake
  • Let rest before serving
