Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless, about 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Equipment

  • Baking dish
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and 2 tbsp lemon juice.
  3. Pat 4 salmon fillets dry, place in dish, pour marinade over. Marinate 10-15 minutes.
  4. Bake 20-25 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  5. Garnish with 2 tbsp chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Opt for fresh salmon for best results.
  • Don't over-marinate to avoid 'cooking' the fish.
  • Broil last 2 minutes for crispy top.
