Strawberry Lemonade

This refreshing strawberry lemonade combines the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the tang of lemons for a perfect summer drink. Easy to make and full of vibrant flavor!

Ingredients
  

Lemonade Base
  • 1 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice About 4–6 lemons
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar Adjust to taste
  • 4 cups Cold water
Strawberry Puree
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries Hulled
  • 2 tbsp Sugar Optional, for extra sweetness

Method
 

  1. In a blender, puree the strawberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar until smooth.
  2. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds.
  3. In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cold water. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  4. Add the strawberry puree into the pitcher and stir well to combine.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill before serving.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh strawberries.

Notes

For a fizzy twist, replace 2 cups of water with sparkling water just before serving.
