Method
- In a blender, puree the strawberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar until smooth.
- Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds.
- In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cold water. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add the strawberry puree into the pitcher and stir well to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill before serving.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh strawberries.
Notes
For a fizzy twist, replace 2 cups of water with sparkling water just before serving.
