Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup diced ham cooked and drained
  • 2 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese sharp preferred
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 9-inch deep dish pie crust frozen or homemade

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook diced ham in skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until slightly browned. Remove from heat.
  2. In mixing bowl, combine warm ham with cream cheese, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until cream cheese melts and mixture is well combined.
  3. Spread ham mixture evenly into pie crust. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and green onion over the top.
  4. In separate bowl, whisk together eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream until completely smooth.
  5. Pour egg mixture carefully over ham and cheese layers in crust, distributing evenly.
  6. Bake for 55-65 minutes until center is set and top is golden brown. Center should have slight jiggle when gently shaken.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • For make-ahead preparation, assemble quiche the night before and refrigerate. Let sit 15 minutes at room temperature before baking.
  • If crust edges brown too quickly, cover with foil or pie shield during last 15 minutes of baking.
  • Quiche can be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in refrigerator before reheating.
  • Leftovers keep refrigerated for up to 4 days in airtight container.
