Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 3 Ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Plain or vanilla
  • 1/3 cup Melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the Greek yogurt, melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chocolate chips, walnuts, or a sprinkle of cinnamon to the batter before baking.
