Method
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt and pepper until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, shredded Monterey Jack, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the cooked ground beef and drained Rotel tomatoes until evenly mixed.
- Transfer the mixture back to the skillet or a baking dish and heat over low until the cheese is melted and the dip is warm. Stir occasionally.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
For a spicier dip, leave some of the Rotel liquid in or add diced jalapeƱos. You can also make this in a slow cooker for easy party prep.
