Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cooked rice, and steamed broccoli. Mix until evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, milk, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, rice, and broccoli. Stir until everything is well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
For extra richness, add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce mixture. You can also substitute cauliflower for broccoli or use Monterey Jack cheese for a milder flavor.
