  • 1 cup rolled oats not quick oats
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Flavor & Toppings
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries plus extra for garnish
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds optional for thickness
  • 2 tbsp almonds sliced, optional topping

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add chia seeds and fold in blueberries gently.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly into two mason jars or airtight containers. Seal tightly with lids.
  4. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours to allow the oats to soften and flavors to blend.
  5. Before serving, stir the oats and top with extra blueberries and sliced almonds if desired.

Notes

These overnight oats can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, making them ideal for meal prep. For a vegan option, use plant-based milk and yogurt and swap honey for maple syrup.
